>Weekend Recap (long post) Monday, August 29, 2011 @ 11:13 PM
So, my weekend was a bit busier then my usual but it was fun :) Went to the open days on Saturday and my family came over after that. Then on Sunday, went to the temple.
Saturday
Went to USYD & UTS open day with Becky, Cindy, Kim, Jenny, Jason, Kat, Renee.......and more people. LOL I was told only 4 people were going. Left late cause some people were late and the train took like an hour so we got there around 10.When we found USYD, there was a person welcoming everyone. Jason was like They're welcoming us" and I was like "with an asian" and then Becky started cracking up next to me :)
Everyone split up to go the lectures afterwards. I went to Architect but found that Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communication) was right after and faraway so I left before Architect finished. I ended not going cause I was looking for Cindy and Becky and supposedly we might have had to leave right after that. In the end we had to wait for others and so some went around more and others got lunch. This went on till past the time my lecture would have finished, I should have gone. Then we went to UTS.
UTS was cool. The others got some food so I got to try Dutch Profiteroles, it was good. Then we looked around a bit before Cindy and Kim had to go to friends birthday. That left Becky, Jenny and me cause we didn't know their friends and didn't really want to go anyway. Jenny soon went back to USYD though. So Becky and I checked out engineering, science, and design. It was really cool. Then because I had to go home early, we left so we could hangout a bit first. So Becky searched Kinokuniya cause I mentioned it but all the results were like Singapore, Thailand and America. We gave up and ended up at Paddys where we just looked around. Went Central Station to go home afterwards, where we found Pitt St which we wanted to go to before. Had to buy a new ticket cause I wasn't at Redfern but no trains went strait to Cheso so we changed at Bankstown. Back at Cheso we started talking bout cars and what nash drives what type :L
Went home and helped out cause my family came over. This time my cousins were there and Chris came back from America for a holiday so it was great to see them. Lasted till kinda late so I slept late too.
Sunday
Got up early again. Urgghhh. So tiring. Went temple to help out. Again, Andrew wasn't there. I'm so not gonna see him again for ages. Anthony was there though. So we helped out (or, more like, got in the way). Later my sister and I had to give out roses to people. Red for people whose mum is still alive and white for not. It was embarrassing as. It got busy afterwards cause people were coming for the free food and when I was sitting down for a bit, Michael and Anthony came :) Afterwards, there was a special offering thing outside so I stayed in the back playing. My sister and I were playing table tennis with this 11yo kid (a boy) and I was losing :P Later, this older guy, likely to be a friend's friend, joined in with us. Somehow, it turned into "keeping the ball up in the air at long distances" type of thing. It then turned into volleyball somehow, and then soccer, which ended when I kicked the ball over the fence.
My sister went to get it and we ended staying at the offering outside cause the guy that was hanging out with us said we should watch for a bit. It went for a while but when it finished it was fun, cause everyone was allowed to take the food there and everyone was acting like kids :) Afterwards, we just went home and all :)
