>The final week Thursday, September 27, 2012 @ 1:13 AM
So we've finished school. Graduation was last Thursday, but it still hasn't sunken in yet. It's still hard to believe that we've all finished schooling, and that now we have the choice to continue our education or go out into the world just a bit.
The days leading up to the end of school were different. I'll just say a bit about the last week, which wasn't even a full week. On Monday, my teacher held for my English class morning tea. She baked us cupcakes, was up at 5am making chocolate strawberries, and even wrote our class a poem. This poem even included a single verse for each student. She's so sweet, making us invitations as well. She got us all to sit down after coming in from recess, talked to us a bit and gave us each our own copy of the poem before beginning to read it. She read the poem, and each time she read out the stanza for that student, we'd laugh or we'd smile; just some of the reactions she'd evoked from us. She'd observed so many things, like how Nam secretly does his math work beneath his english or how Becky occasionally eats something during class. She even knew which plane it was that Omar wants to pilot. My verse by the way was this:
During lunch, most of the people who hang out in the senior study starting playing around. The volleyball game that was meant to be on was cancelled so my friends who had wanted to play came back. Someone had found two balloons and so we started hitting it around. It quickly turned into a game of volleyball with balloons and we were all playing very seriously. Even when one popped, we still kept playing and it was seriously so fun to just play like that and not care. When lunch ended though, it was sad that we had to stop and go to class.
There were also parties on Tuesday. The first was in Art during 1st period where we had sushi and pancakes. While I love sushi, it seems most of my class weren't used to it and therefor didn't eat much. In Physics, miss brought in cake, lollies and drinks for our class. I hadn't known we were having a celebration at all so it was surprising. Add to that Hussein and Amber joined our class so it was better :) At lunch, I went out to join some of the guys in playing volleyball because it had been so long since I'd played any sort of sport. It was fun, and we continued playing even into extension for a bit.
The next day was the picnic, which I'll talk about later!

Jessica's sweet smile is match only to her lovely disposition,I think I'm just boasting haha :) But yes, through hearing all this, you could just see how much she cared and paid attention to us :) After that poem, she opened the present that our class had given to her. Inside was a framed poem written for her by Andrea with some suggestions added by the class. She read it and loved it, even saying that it was better than her own and soon after we started eating. During that time, she gave us some advice based on her life experiences, with one being "Don't borrow your parents' car and crash it, they'll remind you of it for the next 25 years of you life." Or something like that, but it was nice. Sometime during then as well we all took a class photo.
And in addition her intelligence deserves it's due recognition.
But Mrs Cremin has noticed and admired for years,
Is what she observes in Jessica, in what she sees and hears.
That Jessica is gentle and it's a trait that's worthy and valuable,
And it's what makes Jessica valued and admirable.
